Notable Drug Cases
Felony Marijuana Conviction Avoided. My client was arrested for felony possession of Marijuana (Schedule VI). After a routine traffic stop, permission to search was granted. One and 1/2 ounces of marijuana was found in the car along with a loaded weapon. A diversion plea was entered to a misdemeanor charge of simple possession. The net result was no jail time, unsupervised probation, and my client's record will be expunged after one year of probation. Case No. 10-020.
